A Familiar Sky
Acrylic on Wood

2021

“A Familiar Sky” was painted during a time of survival. The sky has a dominating presence that often appears in my paintings. I find comfort in it’s cecessless complexion. The sky is something to be in awe of. It provides limits yet offers fundamental thoughts of infinity. The sky is significant in a time of survival. Personifying it’s many states of existence, it’s numerous moods and transitions become metaphors for a life of perpetual change.
